Description
The Department of Nursing Education was established in 1965 at Westbrook Junior College and offered a two-year associate's degree in nursing. Well before the Blewett Science Center was completed in 1967, the first class of nursing students was entering its second year and regularly spending time at Maine Medical Center. Six members of the class of 1967 are shown leaving the college bus, which had taken them to the hospital and back.
