Description
A pre-nursing curriculum was added to the Westbrook Junior College catalog in 1936. A medical assistant program began in 1937. Both these curricula, and the medical secretarial program, made use of the new second floor Alumni Hall Biology Laboratory. This photo shows the Biology Lab in the late 1930s, early 1940s, with a student working at a microscope in the foreground and two instructors working at a lab bench toward the back left.
