Description

An unknown Westbrook Seminary female student is photographed on an 1870s carte de visite by S. C. Austin, Photographer, Keene, N.H. She wears an elaborate white lace jabot held in place by a pin and triangle shaped earrings which hang from metal bases in the shape of flowers. Her hair is parted in the middle, pulled softly back from her face and coiled at the back of her neck.
