A cabinet card photograph by Lamson of Portland, ME., shows the head and shoulders of an unidentified young female 1880s Westbrook Seminary student. She wears a dark dress with pleats and bead work down the front and a high dark velvet collar. Though her hair is drawn back, it poufs out across her forehead.
