Description
Seven Westbrook Seminary male students form a human pyramid in the playing fields behind Alumni Hall and Hersey Hall, in this circa 1919-1920 black and white snapshot. Top to bottom, left to right are pictured: Norbert King, John King, Burton Brooks Witham, George Finch, Gene Smith, Maurice N. Winslow, and Kenneth C. Hughes.
On the back of the photograph, in addition to the names of the male students, is typed: "For THE CRIMSON AND GRAY, We'd Play all day And still have time for classes We play in the sun and when we are done We begin to play with the lasses"
Gene Smith '22 is written in pencil at the bottom on the back of the snapshot.
