Description

The ten members of the Westbrook Seminary Class of 1927 pose in their Commencement caps and gowns, right shoulders to the camera in a single line, on the College Green. All ten female graduates wear white dresses under their Commencement gowns. Heels are dark like their robes. Their robes have plain white collars. Mortar boards are squarely set on their heads and tassels hang above their left shoulders.

From left to right 1927 graduates are: Rachel Turner, Barbara Mather, Adeline Dickey, Elizabeth Nells, Dorothy Morse, Arline Taylor, Mrs. Martha Howe, Ethel McLean, Charlotte Smith, and Winnifred Oakes.

College Street houses are visible in the background.
