Barbara Hicks (Hardman), Westbrook Junior College, Class of 1946, and Pauline Ruth McIntosh, WJC, Class of 1947, pose with Edward Victor, science teacher, on the Green in front of McArthur Gymnasium in this black & white candid snapshot taken in 1946. On the back of the photo in black ink is written: Barbara Hicks '46; Edward Victor - Science; and Pauline McIntosh '47.

Barbara Hicks wears a light dress and sweater, bobby socks and flat shoes. The sleeves of her sweater are pushed up over her elbows and she stands with her arms crossed. Pauline McIntosh wears a white short-sleeve 'camp' shirt and rolled up jeans, pedal pusher style, bobby socks and loafers. Both girls have dark, curled, shoulder length hair.

Science teacher Edward Victor stands, hands in pockets, between the two students. He wears a suit, white shirt, tie and rimless eye glasses. His hair is parted just to the left of center.
