Description
Seven Westbrook Junior College students, cigarettes in hand, gather in a smoker lounge in this black and white candid snapshot with "Thurs. Jan 12, 1956," written in blue ink on the back. Six of the young women wear skirts and sweaters; the seventh wears a dark skirt with matching suit jacket. Several have charm bracelets circling their wrists, visible above the fingers holding their cigarettes. All smile and laugh at the camera, happy to be in each others company.
