Description
Eight Westbrook Junior College students pose around a coffee table in the Lounge in this black and white photograph with 1950 written on the back. The eight young women wear wool skirts with matching wool jackets or white blouses or sweaters. Two wear sweater vests over their blouses; several wear pearl necklaces.Their hair is parted to one side or the other and curls softly over their ears. All smile and converse, informally seated at or bending over the coffee table and before a broad curtained window.
On the coffee table is an open three-ring binder and two glass dishes containing mints or nuts. The young woman seated at the binder holds a pen in her right hand.
