Eight Westbrook Junior College students meet around a coffee table in their dormitory lounge in this 1954 black and white photograph by William M. Rittase, of Philadelphia, PA. Penciled on the back of the photo is Bell House (?). Perhaps the young women are absorbed in a Bell House residence hall meeting?
Three young women sit on a couch, four sit on chairs and one sits on the floor with her left shoulder leaning against a support column. Two have their feet propped up on the coffee table. All wear their hair short and styled with curls. They are dressed in pedal-pushers, shorts or wool skirts. One student wears her white Westbrook Junior College blazer.
