Description
Three Westbrook Junior College students, within MacArthur Gymnasium, pin and cut a paper pattern and cloth in this black and white photograph with May 22, 1969, stamped on the back. The three young women bend over a long table. Two are pinning the pattern to the cloth, and each has a pair of pinking shears in front of her. The third young woman is cutting the pattern and material, shears in hand.
The two pinning have on white Oxford button-down-collar shirts. The third wears a striped sweater over jeans. All are smiling and laughing, enjoying the sewing project at hand.
