Description
Two Westbrook Junior College dental hygiene students read to, and visit with, eight school children in this 1964 black and white glossy photo taken in the DH Clinic (later Coleman Building). One DH student sits on the lobby floor of the Clinic with the eight children. One DH student stands looking down at the circle of young patients--made up of four little girls and four little boys. The seated DH student wears a white lab coat. The standing DH student wears a white dress uniform, banded cap and white shoes and nylons. The little girls all wear dresses; the boys, long sleeve shirts and slacks. In all probability, the children have walked to the Clinic from their school and are waiting for their turns to have their teeth cleaned.
