Description
In this 1964 black and white glossy photograph, two Westbrook Junior College dental hygienists examine a young boy's dental x-rays while the youngster opens wide both his mouth and his eyes . . . and waits. The two hygienists wear white uniform dresses and white caps. One cap is banded across one corner; the other is banded across the entire cap front. Concentrating on the radiographs, neither hygienist notices the little boy's expression of distress, excitement, or is it awe, that he can open his mouth and his eyes that wide . . . and wait.
