Description
Two Westbrook Junior College nursing students cross the street in front of the Maine Medical Center, Portland, Maine, in this 1967 black and white glossy photo. Visible behind the two young women are the glass door entrances to MMC and the words "Maine Medical Cent." The nursing students wear their pale gray cotton uniform dresses with white collars banded with maroon, starched white pinafore aprons, white nurses caps with WJC emblem on the side, and white nylons and shoes. Wrist watches on their left arms and name tags on their left shoulders complete their uniform attire.
