Description
Joyce Hansen took the twenty minute commute by ferry from Peaks Island to Portland. Apart from her weekday commutes to Westbrook Junior College, she worked Saturdays and Summers in the offices of Casco Bay Lines, the company that ran the ferries to the island.
In the photograph she is standing on the dock waving. She graduated with the Class of 1960.
