Westbrook College student Shelly Louise Smith, Class of 1978, was a Liberal Arts major and lived in Linnell Hall. For her senior class candid photo, which appeared in the 1978 Tower Yearbook, she wore gloves and a dark leather trench coat tied at the waist over a pale cowl neck sweater. Shelly's blonde hair was shoulder length, parted in the middle and feathered back on the sides. Shelly stands, with hands softly folded, in the snow in front of an evergreen tree which partially covers the Library-in-a-church building in the background.
