Description
Two Westbrook College students sit together at a piano in an Alumni Hall music room in this 1970s black and white candid photo. One student has her elbow balanced on the piano top and holds her head in her hand; her eyes are closed or lowered. The other student looks at the music which stands upright on the piano. One student wears a short sleeve shirt; the other, a dark, hooded sweatshirt with drawstring.
In all likelihood, the Alumni Hall music room is that of professor Richard Roberts, who taught music and western civilization culture sections from 1958 to 2001. Alumni Hall was refitted for the humanities in 1968.
