Two Westbrook College fashion merchandising students model in store on a make-shift stage and before a curtain backdrop in this 1970s black and white photograph with R [Ruth] A [Ann] Brooks written in black sharpie on the back. One wears a white pantsuit and tam o'shanter hat with a dark striped, lengthy cardigan sweater. The other sports dark pants tucked into high boots and a striped sweater with hood. Both pose with right hands on their hips and with left hands "saluting" from their head gear.

The young women are participating in department store internships where fashion knowledge, retailing, salesmanship, modeling, and display expertise were part of the curriculum and the internship.
