A Westbrook College fashion merchandising student cuts material and pattern under the direction of FM Faculty member Barbara Weiland in this 1978 black and white photograph. The student wears a dark, long sleeve jersey underneath a striped woolen sweater. Barbara Weiland taught fashion merchandising courses at Westbrook College in 1978, 1979 and 1980. In this photo she wears a suede jacket and points to the pattern lines on the cutting board.
