Description
Fifteen Westbrook College freshmen nursing students pose in their uniforms for the 1970 Tower yearbook in this black and white photograph. The young women wear their pale gray uniforms with maroon trimmed collars, white caps, white heavily starched aprons, and white hose and shoes. They stand and sit in two rows in front of the fireplace in Wing Lounge, Alexander Hall.
The plaque on the fireplace reads: This room is the gift of Mr. and Mrs. Horace A. Hildreth in memory of her mother Mrs. Daniel G. W[ing].
