Description
Eight Westbrook College students sit in metal chairs with laminate writing arms in this 1980s black and white photograph. The writing arms of many are piled high with textbooks and note pads. The four young women and four young men face forward while being photographed from the side. All wear short sleeve tops with the exception of one young man who wears a striped tank top. The student closest to the camera holds a pair of glasses in his hand and rests the bow against his pursed lips.
The Alumni Hall tiered classroom was frequently used in the 1980s by Richard Roberts for piano classes and for Western Civilization classes. The pictures and images tacked to the wall to the left of the students were usually reproductions of older art history pieces used and taught in Western Civ classes.
