The main entrance, off the Courtyard, of the Abplanalp Library at Westbrook College, Portland, Maine, was photographed shortly after its dedication on October 18th, 1986. The Abplanalp Library was named for alumna Josephine Sloboda Abplanalp, Westbrook Junior College, Class of 1945. The sign bearing her name was on display in the tent on the Green where the Library dedication ceremonies took place. Immediately following the dedication, the sign was mounted over the entrance and this colored photograph taken to commemorate the occasion.
