Westbrook Junior College Liberal Arts faculty member William 'Bill' Jordan teaches a social studies class to fifteen students in a classroom within Proctor Hall in this early 1960s photograph by The Wendell White Studio, Portland, Maine. Professor Jordan stands in front of a large wall map and points at a flip chart labeled "Our Department of State." Students are seated in tablet arm desk chairs. All are wearing skirts and sweaters, or skirts and blouses. Most wear bobby socks or knee socks, and loafers or sneakers.
