Description
A ca. 1876 carte de visite by Conant, Portland, Me., has Eva D(?)ummer written on the back. Eva sits with her arms resting on a table and folded across each other. A shawl is draped across her shoulders with the ruching on her dress cuffs visible. White lace and a bar pin are at her throat. Her hair is braided and coiled toward the back of her head with tendrils over her forehead.
