Abstract

On April 5, 2023, Cathleen Miller interviewed Norman Beaupré for the UNE Oral History Project. During the interview, Beaupré discusses his personal history and his years of working at Saint Francis College and the University of New England.

Beaupré spoke about his family and life as a Franco American in Biddeford, Maine. He shared how he came to a career in teaching, and discussed his passions for language, culture and writing. Beaupré began working at Saint Francis College in 1974, and retired from the University of New England in 2000.
