The student and baby stand in front of a window with drapes on which are depicted nursery animal characters. The young woman wears her pale gray nursing student uniform with maroon trimmed collar. Her hair is in a bun on the top of her head. The baby has on a long sleeve nightgown and is loosely wrapped in a blanket.
